Welcome To The R. W. Mutch Educational Foundation

In these pages you will learn how the R. W. Mutch Equitation Classic evolved and why the R.W. Mutch Scholarship came into being. The Classic is a Registered, Trademarked, Licensed and Copyrighted Equitation Class which cannot be copied in any manner.

The R. W. Mutch Educational Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) educational foundation that sponsors the R. W. Ronnie Mutch Equitation Classic. In 2008 the Classic moved to Thermal, California.  This year we are pleased to be able to offer the Classic in both Thermal, California and Ocala, Florida. This invitational classic, is a highly sought after honor,  open only to those talented riders who win at least one major equitation class at any of the major winter circuits: HITS Thermal, HITS Arizona, HITS Ocala, WEF, and Gulfport Mississippi.

In 2003, under the guidance of Carol Coleman, the educational foundation developed the R. W. Mutch scholarship program. Now going in its eighth year, the scholarship has become an annual event occurring during the two weeks prior to the Mutch Equitation Classic.
